The Westcoast Small Home Expo presents Small Art for Small Spaces. We invite artists in the visual and dimensional arts to showcase their artwork at the 2020 Westcoast Small Home Expo, hosted at Tradex in Abbotsford. Meant to foster the enjoyment of art in ALL spaces, and to break down barriers to owning original art, this display will accompany the Expo on October 3&4, 2020. The showcase will take place on the show floor, and will display both completed art for sale as well as the LIVE creation of art during the show itself.
There is a $25 entry fee when you register for live painting (plein air) art that is submitted purely for display and sale, or to create live at the show, also for sale. For those submitting for display and sale, 6′ draped table plus 1 chair for $75. Artists selected will be given a single Exhibitor Pass for the duration of the show. Artists are responsible to drop off and pick up their work to and from the Tradex Centre before and after the show. Specific drop off and pickup hours will be assigned closer to the show date.
Artists who submit proposals to create live art (ie. “plein air” painting) during the show must be prepared to work in limited space, and be self-contained. Artists creating live art during the show must be present with their displays during show hours. ALL Artists are encouraged to attend during show hours and be available to answer questions about their work.
Artists are responsible for their own sales and retain 100% of the sale price of their art.
