Who attends the Small Home Expo?

Downsizers, Condo/Townhome Dwellers, and Tiny House Enthusiasts

Downsizers formed our biggest demographic at our original show. But this was followed closely by those who are first time buyers or builders. We know that both these demographics have grown substantially in the last 24 months.

Remodelers and redecorators

Attendees prioritized kitchen and bath, major furniture, lighting, small space gardening, flooring and window coverings, electronics, and paint and finishings.

Why Exhibit?

Even if you already have display elsewhere, our Attendees represent the most discerning consumers who are actively seeking the same thing: solutions. They are all ready to purchase, and they are all in one place.

How is the small Home Expo Marketed?

Our very first year, in 2019, we succeeded in attracting just under 6000 attendees. Since that time, the housing market has become even more intense. We market the Westcoast Small Home Expo much the same way we market all of our other shows: using a combination of social media posts and paid advertising, paid web advertising, conventional print advertising, marketing at other events, signage, and marketing through our Exhibitors. We do not do radio, television, or a large amount of print media, because it’s not trackable. We use online methods of advertising because we know where our dollars go, and what part of our marketing is working.

We’re very interested in working with each of our Exhibitors on a 1:1 basis to form creative partnerships, and exploring all sorts of fresh ideas. If you’ve got an idea, reach out to our Marketing Manager, Peggy Richardson.

Your investment includes much more than a booth.

Our philosophy of “Beyond the Booth” means that we want to form partnerships with our Exhibitors that help them market their businesses year-round. (We do this for our other events, the Fraser Valley Wedding Festivals, too.) This means things like finding ways to cross over other marketing, social media mentions, and plain, old-fashioned referrals that happen literally every day.
